Welcome to my August edition, as the last month of summer unfolds, I’m writing this from the south Devon coast in the UK on a nice relaxing holiday. A heatwave is going on, which is a welcome relief from the cool summer so far.
Welcome to your July edition of my newsletter! June has been a very busy month, with over 26,000 photos shot at over 30 events. Even though the weather hadn’t been great at the beginning of the month, summer started at the end.
This year is flying fast, and June has so many events around London. One of my highlights would be the Graduate Fashion Show and the Japanese Emperor state visit near the end of the month. Plus, there is a shoot with two ballerinas in Shoreditch and a lavender shoot with a couple of models.
As one of the most colourful times of the year unfolds, we’re greeted by the delightful blooms of wisteria and a palette of early summer beauty. This month promises a return of warmer weather and a host of exciting events tailored for everyone.
From the whimsical dance of cherry blossoms to the proud stance of tulips and the delicate carpet of bluebells, our surroundings are bursting into a kaleidoscope of colours. Whether you’re a photography enthusiast eager to capture the ephemeral beauty of spring or simply someone who delights in the joy of meandering through floral marvels, this season promises an enchanting palette of experiences.
Spring has arrived, and the days are getting longer, so there is more time to enjoy events around London. There is plenty to see and immerse yourself in.

Highlights this month include the exhibition by Yoko Ono at Tate Britain called “Music of the Mind” and London Fashion Week again, one of my favourite events to photograph.
Happy New Year, I hope you had a good holiday. A new year is upon us, a new start with a blank canvas, and there are plenty of opportunities in 2024 to build some income streams for creatives.
London is one of the best cities in the world for Christmas Lights; you have iconic streets like Oxford Street, Regent Street and Carnaby Street, amongst many others. Plus, many smaller locations are less well-known and off the beaten track. But some of these places can be just as beautiful.
The last month of the year is upon us; I hope you have had a good year. I certainly have, with lots of projects bearing fruit and with lots more planned for 2024. It was the first year I shot over 110,000 photos and attended plenty of events that I still think I have been lucky to attend.
As the chill in the air deepens and the nights embrace us earlier each day, this is the time of the year when the skies burst alive with the dance of fireworks and our streets become a canvas of twinkling Christmas lights, there are plenty of lights switching on this month. from Oxford Street to Watford Town. Which are all great to photograph.
October has arrived, and after a record-warm September, will the month continue in the same way? There are lots of events listed below, some of which I will be covering at various press photocalls. Look out for an article later this month on how to get into these events. My annual calendars are nearly ready to be sent to the printers; they will be added to my website in the 2nd half of the month. There will be four calendars: Watford, Fashion, London and my favourite photos from the last 12 months.
