Pickmeup 2013 Graphic art show in London

It’s the end of April and once again the brilliant contemporary graphic art show at Somerset house returns. The festival now in its 4th year celebrates graphic art, design & illustration. This seemed to be the biggest one yet.

It was the warmest day of the year in London as I headed down to Somerset house on the banks of the Thames. The evening event was sold out and the place was packed with a queue around block.

Some of the artists work, more can be seen on the Flikr link at the bottom of the page.

Below the band heavy pencil that played in the evening. Besides viewing the art work you can also take part in screen printing, badge making and other activities.

An enjoyable evening was had talking to some of the artists and viewing their work. More of my photographs can be found on Flikr here taken on Thursday 25th April 2013.
