June 2013 – Weather Statistics for Watford UK

It certainly wasn’t a flaming June this year. It ended up another below average month (temperature) but at least it was dry. The month started off with cooler nights and warm days with plenty of sunshine. But it still ended up below average temperatures the 6th month in a row! That hasn’t happened for a long while. Below are the more detailed stats one notable feature is the 11 day dry spell at the beginning of the month. Most of the months rain fell on the 15th – 7.8mm.

The CET for the England came in at 14c (-0.5c)

Looking toward July its looking like a much warmer month and I think it will be our first above average month across the UK. High pressure will be more in control to our NW and slipping over the top of the UK every now and then. This will bring spells of warm to hot weather bring temperatures up to and beyond +30c. The last week of the month I think will bring a coolish spell with a bit more rain.
