February 2013 Statistics

February was quite an average month with a few wintry spells interspersed with brief mild spells. Overall  a colder than average month (-0.6c CET) over the UK with below average rain.

Winter 2012 – 2013 (December / January / February) has been slightly below average and carries on the sequence of colder winters that started back in 2010. This has brought a significant increase in the snow falling over the last few winters.
