Some of the highlights include

September
Cuban Life Photography Exhibition by David Cotter. Through the fish eye lens excellent portraits portraying life in Cuba.
New Zealand Rugby Team this was the start of the Rugby World Cup, the team were at an event on the southbank of the Thames.

Open House London – 

Another brilliant day visiting the splendid buildings of London. Some of the most amazing buildings are open to the public for one weekend a year. This year I went on a tour of 6 buildings all within walking distance of Blackfriars with some friends.

October

Merge Festival Photo walk at Bankside for its 5th year of immersive art. The installation is inspired by the 1874 building which housed the first tensile testing machine in the world. It explores the nature of time through action and re-action.

All aboard for Worldwide Instameet 12!! – Travelling along the Thames on a fab cruiseship with Instagrammers London.

Night session for Instameet 12 – After dark with Jose and friends spinning steel wool to make light orbs on the bans of the Thames.

World Zombie Photo Walk – 

Zombies hit London on Saturday 10th October 2015 in their hundreds munching their way along London landmarks causing mayhem in their wake.

Treasure Hunt around Soho – 

I always love the Soho area and doing a treasure hunt around the area sounded very appealing especially on my birthday. The treasure hunt was a little bit different in that the treasure was socially conscious businesses in the area and we were visiting a few of them

‘NIL’ | Mr. Jago | Solo Exhibition – Fab exhibition, 

Explosion of colour at the opening of the street artist #duncanjago Street art from the Bristol based artist Duncan Jago. He is one of the most recognised and celebrated street artists of his generation.

Dungeness Meetup – Lovely meetup with IgersKent at Dungeness, it is the UK’s only classified desert. A spectacular place where you could spend house amongst the ship wreaks. The whole place is like a film set with 2 light houses. Look out for a blog to come soon.

November

Oxford Street lights turn on – Kylie turning on the Oxford Street lights on Sunday evening managed to get in the VIP area.

Fireworks – The annual fireworks display held in Cassiobury Park, one of my favourite photographs that I took in 2015. Watford’s famous tree in the centre.

The Universal Zulu Nation Anniversary – My friend Kingsley was exhibiting some of his photographs at this event.

New Jazz, New Dance: Gilles Peterson presents Kamasi Washington, GoGo Penguin. Played at the Barbican centre brilliant performance.

Regent Street Christmas Lights 2015 – switching on of the lights in Regent street by a host of stars.

The UNIQLO STAR WARS™ Collection Launch, this was for the first showing of all the clothing range they were doing for the latest Star wars film. Goodie bags for the first 100 people. Managed to get a cool BB8 t-shirt.

Syon Park – Enchanted Wood, my annual visit to the beautiful woods all lit up for 2 weeks of the year in late November. This year managed to get on the guest list as they used some of my photographs on their website. Below is one of the shots I took this time.

December
Principia Lates: The UK’s Biggest Space Celebration – Science Museum. This was for the launch of the first British astranaut onto the International Space Stattion. They had a live link up with Tim Peake as he entered the station.

Starwars reaches Leytonstone for Stuart Freeborn

On the 12th December Storm troopers descended on a Leytonstone pub in honour of the memory of Stuart Freeborn. Supported by the council a series of murals have been created in front of the Heathcote Arms pub. 

Gandini Juggling & Jacksons Lane Present Meta

This week I had the fortunate position to see a performance by Gandini Juggling at the Jacksons Lane theatre in north London. It was an excellent show mixing juggling and dance with text, ballet, hammers, a bit of nudity and comedy sketch.
