Painting with light

One of my biggest interests at the moment is photography. A few years back I decided to upgrade my camera to a DSLR. At the time I had one of the first digital cameras from Sony.

Going through the steep learning curve to learn about the camera I decided it was better to take some lessons. The latest I took was called Painting with light. This was with a company called Frui  with excellent tutors. It focused on how to use your camera’s shutter speed to take interesting pictures with light at night.

Some of the pictures I took on the course are below.

This was the first one I took, showing the car lights streaming past.

You can even paint around yourself with a torch if you are fast enough.

More of my painting with light photographs using the skills I picked up on the course can be found on my Flikr
