Summer is officially here, and hasn’t it crept up quickly? After a spring bursting with colour and an almost surprising stretch of blue-sky days, we now roll into the vibrant rhythm of the holiday season and cultural happenings across London.
Icons of Innocence and Rebellion: Yoshitomo Nara at the Hayward Gallery
This summer, the Hayward Gallery opens its doors to the deeply emotive and unmistakable world of Yoshitomo Nara. From 10 June to 31 August 2025, the acclaimed Japanese artist presents his first major UK solo exhibition
Sir Peter Cook Unveils Play Pavilion with LEGO at London’s Serpentine – A Celebration of Imagination and Architecture
Play Pavilion, a dynamic public art installation designed by architect Peter Cook in collaboration with the LEGO Group. Situated in Kensington Gardens, London, the structure features bright orange panels, playful sculptural elements, and a yellow slide, emphasizing imagination and interaction. It was unveiled for World Play Day on the 11th June 2025. The installation is open until 10th August 2025.

Welcome to my September newsletter. It’s the first month of autumn, and the nights are slowly drawing in. Hopefully, the summer warmth will continue. This will be a busy month of events; check out the list below.
August Events 2024
Welcome to my August edition, as the last month of summer unfolds, I’m writing this from the south Devon coast in the UK on a nice relaxing holiday. A heatwave is going on, which is a welcome relief from the cool summer so far.
July Events 2024
Welcome to your July edition of my newsletter! June has been a very busy month, with over 26,000 photos shot at over 30 events. Even though the weather hadn’t been great at the beginning of the month, summer started at the end.
June Events 2024
This year is flying fast, and June has so many events around London. One of my highlights would be the Graduate Fashion Show and the Japanese Emperor state visit near the end of the month. Plus, there is a shoot with two ballerinas in Shoreditch and a lavender shoot with a couple of models.
May Events 2024
As one of the most colourful times of the year unfolds, we’re greeted by the delightful blooms of wisteria and a palette of early summer beauty. This month promises a return of warmer weather and a host of exciting events tailored for everyone.
