Her design evokes a meaningful dialogue between the permanent and ephemeral nature of the commission.

London Design Biennale at Somerset House – 5th to 29th
London Design Biennale returns to Somerset House from 5-29 June 2025 for its 5th edition, showcasing world-leading design, innovation, creativity and research by exhibitors from across the globe. The three-week international exhibition features curated installations accompanied by a programme of events, thought-leadership talks, performances and workshops.

Wandsworth Arts Fringe at various locations – 6th to 22nd 
The Mayor’s London Borough of Culture is a year to show how culture can spark joy, making us feel happier, healthier and more connected to each other. Wandsworth Arts Fringe includes a packed schedule of theatre performances, comedy, cabaret and more.

London Gallery Weekend at various locations – 6th to 8th 
London Gallery Weekend is the world’s largest event of its kind and unique among global gallery weekend events in the breadth and diversity of its participating galleries. The event takes place over three days, each focusing on a different area of London. Free for all to attend, it provides an opportunity to discover and explore London’s world-class gallery scene, celebrating the city’s diverse cultural and creative communities. An extensive programme scheduled by galleries specially for the weekend includes talks, family workshops and special events.

London Open Gardens is our annual event when normally closed or hidden green spaces open their gates to our supporters. Discover rooftop gems, community spaces and historic walled enclosures. We also offer walks and special access opportunities to meet some of the people managing green space for nature, climate and people.

Graduate Fashion Foundation is a charitable organisation and an essential part of the fashion industry. It is the springboard for new talent, a bridge between education and employment.

Edward Burra & Edward Burra at Tate Britain – 16th to 19th October
Edward Burra runs in parallel with an exhibition of works by Ithell Colquhoun, offering visitors the chance to see two influential British artists with one ticket. Edward Burra is one of the most distinctive British artists of the 20th century, renowned for his vibrant, satirical scenes of the uninhibited urban underworld and queer culture during the ‘Roaring Twenties.’

Wandsworth Heritage Festival – 13th to 13th July
Wandsworth’s annual festival celebrates the borough’s rich history through a programme of walks, talks, exhibitions, and creative performances. The 2025 Wandsworth Heritage Festival will take place from Friday 13th June – Sunday 13th July and will be themed ‘Wandsworth and the Arts’ with a bumper four-week festival to mark Wandsworth’s year as London Borough of Culture.

Trooping the Colour at the Mall – 14th 
The Sovereign’s official birthday is celebrated with the ceremony of the King’s Birthday Parade, also known as Trooping the Colour. This impressive display of pageantry takes place on a Saturday in June, performed by His Majesty’s personal troops of the Household Division on Horse Guards Parade.

BMW Classics 2025 at Trafalgar Square – 15th
BMW Classics, the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO)’s free outdoor summer concert in Trafalgar Square, will next take place on Sunday 15 June 2025 – conducted for the first time by LSO Chief Conductor, Sir Antonio Pappano.

Photographic Nature Walk in the Peace Garden & Nature Reserve – 18th
Take a guided walk through Cassiobury Peace Garden to the Nature Reserve led by Andrew Lalchan (local photographer). We will explore the park in early summer with dragonflies and damselflies. This walk offers opportunities to take nature photos, and Andrew will be on hand to provide guidance and advice.

Top London restaurants, tasting experiences, and live cooking shows in the open air. Every summer,  Regent’s Park is taken over for a next level food-fuelled garden party, slap bang in the centre of one of the coolest cities on earth. Jenny Saville: The Anatomy of Painting at National Portrait Gallery – 20th to 7th September
The first UK museum exhibition dedicated to Jenny Saville, showcasing 50 powerful figurative works spanning her career. Saville rose to prominence in the early 1990s, following her acclaimed degree show at the Glasgow School of Art. Since then, she has played a leading role in the reinvigoration of figurative painting – a genre that she continues to test today.

Free performances from London’s top musicals in an outdoor celebration of theatre. Celebrate 20 years of West End LIVE with a weekend of outstanding performances from top West End musicals, live and free in Trafalgar Square.

London Band Week at various locations –  24th to 29th
The culture of London concerns the arts, museums, festivals and lifestyle of the city. London is alive with music. From the iconic military bands performing ceremonial duties at Buckingham Palace to the vast and diverse array of community bands that can be found in every district of the city and its suburbs – London is home to the marching band!

The event is the largest celebration of Canadian culture worldwide, attracting over 30,000 visitors in its relaunch year in 2023. Taking place in Trafalgar Square.
