Hackney Wick is now becoming a new Shorditch with all the street art around the place. At the beginning of June I went on a photo walk with London Photo Walk around the area. It is a place that I hadn’t explored around before as I am usually just passing through to Stratford.
Along the canals are lots of street art on the edges of the walls of the canal.
Below you can see some photographs of the various pieces of art.
Photowalkers – I’m a real artist….
This girl happened to be cycling past and of course all us photographers were trying to get a shot.
Fishing…
We stopped for a bite to eat and drink… it turned out very warm.
The swans on the canal as we wondered up the path towards East Ham.
Photowalkers on the march
Beautiful day for canoeing…
3 Mills studios, continuing down the River Lea
The bears are out in the sun…
Finally ending up on Bow creek. A long walk but enjoyable seeing parts of London that I wouldn’t have ventured to.
More of my photographs can be found on Flickr(link below) thanks also to Savash & Maja for organising. If you would like to go on interesting photo walks check out the Facebook page below.
