About me – Andrew

Who is me? Such a big question there for my first post but here goes a little about me.

Back in the 70’s I was born in a county called Gloucestershire on an island called the United Kingdom and here started my journey on planet Earth. My little spot on the timeline of the universe.

Fast forward to the present where I live in Watford and run my own company called Chaplin Multimedia which I have been doing for the last 15 year’s. Wow that’s been a long time!

My interests at the moment involve photography, travel, meteorology, art, music, science & sports. Plus of course my business.

I started my company initially with my brother I didn’t think I would still be doing it 15 years later. But its been mostly good with of course the ups and downs of running your own business. Going through recessions & boom times and especially in the creative technology industry, you don’t know what the next big “thing” is going to be. Who would have thought the biggest selling product at the moment would be tablets. Keeping up with what’s new is increasingly becoming harder.

OK so that’s a little bit about me. My blog will be about some of the things I am up to, the places I visit, the events I go to, the gigs (past & present) plus the photographs I take.

The above photograph was taken on the South bank of the Thames in London one of my favorite places to be. You can see more of my pictures on Instagram. I will be doing a blog post on photography soon.

I have been meaning to do a blog for over 5 years but never got round to it due to lack of time. One of my new year resolutions was to start writing more. So here you go, thanks for reading my first post. 🙂

In the next month look out for my posts on a photography tutorial that I will be going to. It will be on Photographing buildings of London which should be fun.
