Clacton pier – helta skelta is no more

The famous ride on Clacton pier was destroyed in the early hours of monday 28th October. It was toppled by 80mph winds from the Storm St Jude. It had stood for 75 years and was a famous icon for the town Clacton on Sea in Essex.

Above are some photographs that I took last summer of the pier. More photos can be found on my Flickr account.
